A friend of mine is after some uprated brakes for the front of his mk4 escort xr3i cabriolet.
i've got 4x4 escort cosworth on my fiesta.
now i'm sure i read somewhere that 2wd sierra cosworth brakes fit mk4 escort? and 4x4 fit mk3 fiesta and mk5 escort.
or is this wrong?

Cosworth calipers will fit any of them cars the 4wd ones are easyer to fit as they more or less bolt stright up with 2wd disks the 2wd (4pot) calipers need some machining/modding

Or just use 2wd Cossie discs and buy the brackets from Hi-Spec for about £40 for the complete kit, including bolts / nuts, etc... and use the original 260mm calipers. May have to shave 1-2mm off the caliper carrier where it goes to the edge of the disc, but this is a situation with individual vehicles and production tolerances.
