doing the track day on 27/12 donnington, have not got an oil coller on the st170 engine yet, is it adviseable to put some higher temp oil in?

std oil in it is 5-30

was thinking of putting 5-40 or even higher???

any idears?? advise please

 

I would go for a 10/40 or even a 10/50 the higher the number the higher protection your engine will have.
