Default Manual cooling fan question?

My RS hasnt got the fan connected through the loom, there is a switch I could use inside the car but being a newbie could anyone give me an idea of how to wire it up to the switch

All you need is a relay, wire and the switch. You run a permanent live to the fan and have the relay on the earth wire from the fans. Rig the switch up with a ignition live to the the relay and the switch on the earth wire from the relay.

if you go to the kenlow electric fan site you will see a thermal switch which allows you to vary the switch to your temp of your water in your rad!!!!
using a ordinary switch you stand the chance of -BOILING /COOKING THE ENGINE!!!!____________if you havent got an eye on it!!
