Mk5 fiesta rear side lights not working

Default Mk5 fiesta rear side lights not working

Hi there people. My misses has a mk5 fiesta on a V reg. The rear side lights arnt working ive changed the bulbs and its still the same.both front side lights n the rear number plate lights are working,but the rears arnt. Has anyone had the same fault.

check teh fuses and the connectors and the holder and dont forget the wiring

Ive checked both fuses ive cleaned them up n put them back in. The 2 fuses are for each side of the car.

I found out what the fault was 1 of the bulbs was nackered after all. The drivers side rear connection on the lights was poor cleaned of corrosion and now all ok.

good to hear mate thought it would be something like that mk4 escorts are the worst for eroded connections

I know the mk 4 rear lights are bastards. I know the rear lights on both of my sierras,when they corroded if you press the brake pedal the little light on the rear fog light switch lights up then goes out.lol
