side lights not working

Default side lights not working

ok my side lights are not working and nor the no. plate light etc or the dash
the rear lights only the brake light works
their is no power to the fues for the lights so is this a relay?
any help would be great

Unlikely that a relay will cut all this out.
Check for power at the light switch itself as this is the first thing to do, and what car, escort mk3/4 ?

it surely dosent sound to be a relay. may be a problem with a switch somewhere.

My mate had a similar problem, exterior lights werent working as they should (intermittent) and dashboard, speedo, heater switches etc stopped lighting up

faulty indicator stalk was to blame (The switch for the lights is on the end of the stalk i seem to remember), common problem with the Escorts apparently

hi i had the same prob with my mk5 i just put a wire from my ignition with a fuse on it....so i put i live in to where the fuse goes have a look if that works it worked ok on mine
