right just need a second opinion a had a problem with a a breather problem were i was getting exshust gases out off the breather and if you drive it hard it will blow a quite a bit off oil out off the breather and lift the dip stick up so i striped it down to and pulled out the pisstons and number 4 the rings were almost lined up you know the rig gaps the oil control and the second comprision ring ther were in line with each other was woundering could that be the cause off my problem also one steam seal was lifted it was a exshust steam any help will be good

 

the rings as you say should be about 120 dec round from each gap as to stop that was the much play in the pistons when they wher in the bore or not valve stem would give a bit but nothing like that just a puff of smoke on start up how the head gasket and what breather kit you got i would say get a set of rings and try it and check thrers no hair line cracks down the skirt of the piston
