Default Water Pissin Out!!!

I have a water leak on my cossie, thought it was the head gasket but now believe it is a pipe under where the injectors are. Right hand side of block somewhere round the oil filter area. Does anyone know if this is a bugger to get to, i'm not very good at mechanics, is it best to take it to a garage, don;t really want to drive it whilst it's pissin out. is it easy to fit and what the pipe is called (part no if poss)

Your help and advice and instructions on replacement of this pipe would be very useful and appreciated!!

Thanks Bison (Newbie)

So do you think an idiot could replace it without 2 many probs? I have a socket set.

Is it worth getting uprated hosing as I am replacing it anyway?

As kev says it could be one of your oil cooler hoses which are just above your oil filter next to the block, have a look round that area to see if you can see them leaking, if you want new ones from Ford the finis codes are 1639256 for the forward most one or 1643728 for the rearmost pipe. They are fiddly to change but only because of the tight space you have to get a screwdriver in to the jubilee clips.

I will say NO, microcat is a commercial product and it's sale or resale is an infringement of microcats copyright, there are copies out there!
