juddering coming from the back?

Default juddering coming from the back?

hey guys, i got a 2wd cossie, which is juddering from somewhere on the back, was thinking maybe rear diff??
I was talking to a guy who was saying about balancing the prob???

anyone help?

hi check if the back bushis are gone but it mite be the prop or back dif

also check the drive shaft bolts (both ends) and while your at it check the insides of the rear tyres for any bulges.

yeah its just when i pull away... i aint long had my tyres fitted and tracked and balanced.. i've now changed the prop. and checked pretty much all the bolts on the back end... how would i be able to tell if it was my diff??

It is either the diff mount, or more likely the beam bushes, very very likely to be these.
Very easy to change not too expensive and make a big difference.
A worn diff will not give you juddering just pulling away, beam bushes will all the time.
You can either fit poly, SUPERFLEX are ace 01749 678152, or you could fit escort cossie one with a GGR axle tightening kit, which work even better, but not cheap.

cheers for the replys..

i had a little mess last night, the whole car is already poly bushed.. dont suppose it matters if there different colours does it. How long to poly bushes last? i thought they were invinsible things.. should be for the time it takes to fit em..
But the diff mount dont look the best. Whats the easy way of changing that?
Oh yeah.. dont suppose anyones got a rear beam knocking around.. was gonna change this one if i can get hold of another.
