Anybody have any ideas wat the problem would be? a whining noise soon developed into a bang then a continuous rolling/rattling noise. car still takes every gear and drives/ noise is worst when clutch is released. anybody have any ideas or any solutions? cheers

Sounds like it could be the clutch release bearing on it's way out. Does the noise change when you press the clutch?

 

ok guys found out its the prop shaft joint thats goosed...the heat from the exhaust drys out all the grease etc!
