a few months ago i got a omex 600 ecu and loom from ross andrews who was breaking his escort zvh turbo!

the engine was sold before i had chnace to go and remove the injectors it was running! he said cossie air injectors


anyways the car was running 350+

i ve got the loom ecu but no injectors, i am wondering what impeance will i need high or low?

i am aiming for a power figure of 350bhp with my zvh motor once mapped

i have found some bosch injectors

part number :- 0280 150 588 14.5 ohm 440cc @3 bar

would these be ok


the cossie greens are

0280 150 803 370cc @ 3 bar but only 4.7 ohm


can any one help and point me in the right direction

 

I would phone OMEX unless someone knows for sure(?) as the wrong ones could damage ECU, injector drivers.
As a GUESS it will be LOW impedance ones.

There are two electrical types of injector, high impedence, and low impedence. High impedence is approximately 12 ohms, and low impedence is approximately 3 ohms. The OMEM600 ECU is designed to use high impedence injectors, but can be used with low impedence if ballast resitors are used. The ballast resistors are shown in the wiring diagram.

Injectors are available in a range of flowrates. Please contact Omex for advice when selecting suitably sized injectors.
