im a newbie to the rs scene im 19 and i just got a FRST, is it true that you can use an uprated intercooler and get rid of the rad and use the intercooler to cool the engine aswell as the engine?

 

Someone is winding you up.
Intercoolers cool air going into the engine, radiators cool the engines water, the two cannot mix obviously.

thanks guys, cleared that up for me, now im off to kill the person who told me that any reccomendations for a rad and intercooler, im running a t3...

 

When I had my old one I ran a pace cooler (was about the only one around at the time !!) with the beige injectors etc it kicked out 185bhp. I personally prefered the T2 though, ran 181bhp but was alot more driveable, and felt far quicker !!
