I have an erst with efi coversion, the car just died, like no petrol. It would start up, then just die. RAC man changed the fuel filter to no avail, then just towed me home . Im getting fuel to the rail and a healthy spark. Any ideas what the problem could be. THANKS

 

Are the injectors firing?

 

The car has fixed itself. Just started up and drove to work and back. Can the injectors have an intermittant fault, or do they work or not?

 

i doubt all 4 injectors have the same fault!!

I wouldnt be trusting that car until it breaks down again and you find the reason for it cutting out

 

Started the car this morning and it just died on the drive. Went to restart it, as it was priming, the pump was switching on and off. Not sure if it has a relay, as there are 2 wires that go from a relay holder into the loom in the engine bay.

 

sounds a bit cobbled up to me!
