Hey, not long just bought a Focus RS which is completly standard and am looking to get either a dump valve or a wastegate.

Has any1 got advice on these and where to buy?

you wont be buying wastegate mate as its an integral part of your turbo and cant be swapped.

Can get a Bailey DV30 recirc off ebay for about 100 quid, Does any1 know a good place for a fitting kit for it?

 

a recirculation dump valve wont make any noise, thats what you are after?

you get dump valve pssh through having an athomspheric dump valve which dumps air out of the engine

or wastegate chatter by blocking the dump valve hole up with a bung but not sure if its safe to do on focus rs's. its not actually wastegate making the noise but the turbo blades hitting the back pressure of air

 

yeah after a wee bit more noise, just read somewhere dv30 was the best for the rs lol will look further into it. Cheers

 

ive got the dv30 on my cossie. its not too loud but sounds good. they do 2 versions so make sure you get the right one
