The power to the coil is an unfused ignition supply so i can only assume you have an internal loom fault......

wot does that mean then mate i but a blub from the power lead and the earth lead that goes to the coil but it did not light up when the ignition was on also is it the black ecu which controls the power to the coil (fuel ecu) is it coz i notice both ecus plug into the same plugs one conector says amp on it so dos the fuel ecu go into that one mate

The power to the coil is unfused - no fuse in its circuit so if theres no power there then theres a loom fault somewhere!

The bulb wont light up with the ignition on, it should flash quickly when you crank the engine.

Silver ecu controls the coil, the ecu plugs are completely different, and so are the latches on them

Mate i said above the bulb won't light across the coil unless you crank it, the negative switches to fire the coil, so putting a bulb on it just with the ignition on will never light up.........

still don't see how you're getting 12v on there but yea i would sort the damaged pins out so you can eliminate that from the equation.
