Default brake hose

Hi everyone.
im looking to replace a front caliper on my sapp cos. Ive come across a couple of second hand ones but my question is do they all come with a copper pipe from the caliper (and then to a flexi) or do some have a flexi coming from the caliper. The reason i ask is ive seen a picture with a flexi leading straight from the caliper and i havn't come across this before.
Cheers.

On the Sierra the flexi pipe goes straight to the calliper.

On a COSSIE the flexi FIRST goes to a METAL pipe that then goes to the caliper, (certainly on 2wd).
The better kits genrally have flexi braided all the way to the caliper body though, as it it a lot easier.
