ERST wont idle

hi, car was runing fine until the other morning on way to work i came to a stop and it stalled, starts up ok but just wont idle. sounds like an air leak but ive checked everywhere! any suggestions?

got it idleing by adjusting where throttle cable stops but bit worried this is hiding the problem and why did it all of a sudden stop idleing?
