missfire problem

Default missfire problem

i am thinking of buying a 2wd saph cosworth it has been rebuilt and is running greens t34 rs500 cooler about 300bhp it was put into storage for the winter and when the guy brought it out the car started and drove fine but at high revs the car has developed a miss fire anyone know what this could be the guy thinks it might be something to do with the electrics getting damp all help would be gratefull thanks

Just be careful that it IS something simple and not expensive.
It could just be a dodgy phase sensor, connector loads of things, could also be the famously crap std ignition coil, group a makes the world of difference to these.
