where are the zetec timing marks?

Default where are the zetec timing marks?

sorry i know sounds like a really stupid question but i cant find it anywhere!?
where are the timing marks for the crankshaft to be at TDC?
its driving me

There aren't any..........another money saving tip brought to you by Ford.

If you've already taken the belt off you're going to be in a spot of bother.

Theres a timing kit you need to buy in order to refit the new belt properly and accurately

It's a piece of piss, PIN goes in hole uncovered by removal of 10mm bolt, to line crank up at TDC, them 8mm rod or flat bar in back of cams, the slot is OFFSET so will only go in the correct way.
The pin for the crank is a precise length so that a flat section on the web of the crank contacts the end of the pin so it can go no further and this is TDC.

it may a piece of piss with the timing kit but from what hes said above he doesnt have one?!

You need to buy the kit or pin at least, as it is a precise length, you can lock the cams with 8mm flat bar, drill bits, bolts etc, so loong as it is 8mm it will fit snugly enough.
I don't remember there being ANY timing marks at all, only done 3/4 though so some may be different, but there were defo none on the ones I did.
