today i noticed that something was rattling every now and again when car was idling, it turns out that its the turbo damper..........
this surely cant be right, can it?
any advise would be greatful

If it's the standard Cossie one (mine rattles too!), you'll probably find the thrust washers are knackered. Mine can't come off yet because some ejit bodged it on in a special way.

Ford don't have the refurbishment kits or damper assemblies any more - I tried getting them for mine last month, so I'm not sure what you can do.
