i have allr eady tested the crank position sensor, i didnt realise he meant that when he said CKP.

So what left to try now, ive cleaned all the connectors sprayed it all with wd40. Could it be the ECU.

yes mate i changed it with one of a XR2i which ive been told is the same.

Yeah it is.

Could well be the ECU then, might be worth continuity testing everything before splashing out on a ECU though......
