Default Tracking/Wheel Alignment

Need to get this done so phoned up about it today. The guy was asking whether my car was lowered and had big wheels, as they might not be able to get the tools in to do the job

Anyone else have problems? Will I need to swap the springs to get it raised a bit, get the tracking done, then lower it again?

Cheers

Keir

some places can't accomodate lowered cars because of the systems they use.

Have you got a Pro Tyre near you? Never had any problems with them

If you swapped springs before and after, then you would invalidate the point of doing the tracking. It will change as soon as you change anything.

It sounds like the place is using the type of equipment where you attach it to the side of the wheel on the rim edge and use a light-gauge, not the better type with laser alignment (like Elite in Essex for example).

My advise, take it somewhere that understands lowered vehicles and the different settings you need accordingly.
