Default Bleed nipples

Hello guys.
Does anyone know how to remove brake bleed nipples which have sheared off. Mine have sheared on the front caliper of my cossie. Is their a way to remove them without buggering the threads up?
I cant bleed me brakes properly!!!
Any advice would be great.
Thanks.
Muffster.

A tap & die kit should do the trick

A tap will clean up any threads AFTERWARDS.
As to getting the bit out a SQUARE extractor would be best, nice and sharp one needed as soft metal, might be best to leave to engineering firm if not confident, as for a few pounds it is not worth buggering it!!

Hard to explain, but its a wedged shaped square piece of hard steel that you knock into the snapped nipple, then there is a shaped piece on the top of it that you put spanner/ratchet on and hopefully when you undo it the snapped off nipple will unscrew out of the caliper on the end of the extractor

Some on E-Bay,different design, but should work, just not too sure of the quality for that price

The best ones I ever used were called WIND OUTS, awsome quality design, stolen years ago when I loaned them to someone.
The main thing to watch is the extractor does not break, I recently used some GLASS HARDENED DRAPER ones like the ebay ones and they were crap, only any use for a bit of thead that is stuck in hole but moves freely!!
