Ive got an xr3i and the Bosch distributor is pretty knackered. I cant source a new one very easily but Lucas are easy to find brand new. So i was wondering if theres anything else that needs changing if you swap the distributor type? Does the ignition amp have the same connector?

Whats so knackered about yours? Not much to go wrong on them apart from the ignition module

 

vacuum advance module is fooked. I know you can replace just the vac unit but i wanna replace the whole thing for peace of mind
