Hi all.
Have the most tinyiest of petrol leaks from my tank in my erst around where the fuel pump pipe joins the tank, i have renewed the fuel pipe but the leak is still there. I have now discovered where the leak is on the tank, but was just wondering what i could use to seal the area where the leak is e.g some resin in a tube or something similar. any ideas?

A NEW TANKS ABOUT 50N QUID MATE AND TAKE ABOUT AN HOUR TO FIT YOUR MUCH BETTER JUST DOING THAT , I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY OLD ONE .

 

IS it definately the tank that is knackered?

 

Sounds like the weld has cracked

 

they go on the seam weld ..dont botch it up mate
change asap.. its a standard ford factory fault ..welds where
s**t on the seam welds just keep tank empty as possible
to you can get a new one + spare red container full of a
fivers juice case you run out.. .. this happend to me
on a sapphire and a s2rs turbo ..s**t happens
