Put copper slip on the back of the pads that touch the calipers and should stop the squeeling

Mintex pads nearly always squeak in my experience. Supposedly its because there is metal in the compound its made of.

Could be copper slip needed, or as said some high performance pads do squeal..........designed to give maximum braking effeciency, whether they will squeak doesn't really get a second thought

Metal in all brake pads m8 made em for a couple of years and performance pads are made just as cheaply as expensive pads im affraid aswell so your paying for nothing IMO just payin for a name as usual with things

The pad material is just mixed up and stirred in a great big pot to cook it all together.
All pads will contain amounts of soft metals, performance pads do contain other things as well, which are sometimes very guarded secrets such as walnut shells.
Some brands do squeal more than others, taxi pads for example can squeal like buggery due to their hard nature.

I value your knowledge ALOT on this forum m8 but im affraid they dont mix it in a big pot yes the compounds gets mixed together but then they get put into block moulds of a square shape before they get used with the certain backing plate that the power press compounds it together with heats of 180-200C to create your brake pad.Smelly job aswell as damn hot haha

Give the pad face a rub with sandpaper.

The "POT" refference was just a loose name for meaning a vessel of some kind more to describe the process than anything else.
