Some brands do squeal more than others, taxi pads for example can squeal like buggery due to their hard nature.

I value your knowledge ALOT on this forum m8 but im affraid they dont mix it in a big pot yes the compounds gets mixed together but then they get put into block moulds of a square shape before they get used with the certain backing plate that the power press compounds it together with heats of 180-200C to create your brake pad.Smelly job aswell as damn hot haha
