i have a 2.0 zvh engine removed from an rs turbo & i am doin the headgasket before i fit it into my xr2.

do i just use a standard rs turbo headgasket????????? or is there a special one for the zvh?

also im unsure what pistons are fitted in it, if they are standard zetec ones can i have them skimmed them down 2 lower the compression?????

also a pic of the engine mount modification would be helpfull if any1 has it or a link to a webiste showing how 2 do conversion?

the only gasket to use for those is a felpro one because of the bore size and mis-match of a CVH head.

I have the correct gasket for the job i believe if you are looking to buy one......

 

ive found the engine mount pic now.

are these the same head settings as a cvh then?

 

if the engines been in a s2 rsturbo, then it will already have had the mount chopped.

 

yes but i dont have the mount, also im sure xr2 mounts are differnt from escort

 

but they locate on to the engine in the same way, so they will be modded in the same way

there was a zvh fiting guide on a xr2 in performance ford before,. can try to get that mag

 

look on the quantums site it shows everything you could ever wish to know
