as title i need help on how to remove the core plug just under my cam pully ive been told to lightly hammer a small screw driver into it . just wan to know coz i dont want to end up hammering it in to the engine.

Hi.You have been told wright.Use a small sharp screwdriver or spike and just punch a hole through the core plug and then lever it out.You don't have to hit it very hard.
