Default bd14s

i have recently put some cams into my 4x4 had it all set up but the car does not have a stable idle. has any one with bd14s have this same issue or is it just normal for them to make the engine to behave like this?

Depends what you mean by "all set up", if it was just the cams were put in, you will have a disasterous idle until idle fuelling sorted, as cams a re a hell of a lot hairier.

Up the idle slighty and it should help

my car idles at 1100 and is quite smooth while using cams with more lift and duration that 14's.

My 4x4 saph runs 14's with verniers and runs pretty smooth on idle (850rpm)
but they were "dialled in" by the guy who mapped it, very slightly lumpy but
hardly noticable
