cossie misfire
this started as a intermitant problem but it's now doing it all the time. it drives fine of boost once it's warmed, but under big load sort of over 4000 rpm it just pops and bangs like guy forks.
ive tried the obvious like plugs and leads, i'm running a recently purchased group A coil, ive tried a new ignition amp. i know the cps sensor connections are sometimes troublesome as ive had it before - so i soldered that back then.
could it be the phase sensor? if so how do you know they are gapped correctly when replacing?
could i not be using suitable plugs?, i was running ngk R iridium, when everything was spot on, put out a strong 357 on the dyno that week. then the problem started so ive borrowed my mates champion c57's i thing, they've not helped. stu at msd reckons denso iridiums are the ones to use, does anybody know which ones? (running greens, t34.48, 28 psi)
all of which has ruined my weekend as i wanted to be at santa pod today, to try and the 13 sec mark.
