Dead ABS

Default Dead ABS

Anyone got any ideas as to why my ABS no longer works on my 2WD sapph?? Changed 1 of the leads last year,don't think it's worked since...

sorry plynchy but without looking at your problem in the felsh its bloody hard to guess what you did to it when you had a play with it last.

drive it to coventry and i would be happy to look at it and tell ya what the problem is

Can't drive it cos it's in hibernation! Changed one of the front sensors as it broke whilst trying to remove the front stub axle.Got a brand new item from Ford but hasn't worked since(i think). Didn't find out till a few months later when the wheels locked under some serious braking.

well sounds most likely to be a duff sensor that ford suplied you then mate.

DOES THE LIGHT COME ON???if not have a look @ the fuse on the abs relay thats under the passenger side of the dash m8!

Oh,the light doesn't come on.
Does anyone know what resistance the lead should read??

Default ABS TEST

1:get in the car push your foot on the brake pedal and hold it pushed down.

2:turn your ignition on and the pedal should move down(only a fraction) as well as this you should hear a click!

BUT 1ST CHECK THE FUSE AS I SAID ABOVE M8!

hope the above can sort your prob m8!
