Default my mk1 fiesta conversion

hi im looking into putting a bigger engine in to much loved mk1 fiesta project and i was wonderin if any 1 can shine some light on to me plz

does any1 no wots the biggest engine i can get into a mk1fiesta and where would i get engine monts from

so if u know of any1 that has converted a mk1 fiesta or u have urself could u plz help me out

I have seen a festa with mid mounted 11.7 litre CHRYSLER V8, just an idea.

Depends what your looking at. Im guessing a Zetec or something like that?

They near on drop straight in, not too sure what mounts you use but presumably a XR2 mount would do the job.

If you want a 5 speed you will have to mod the chassis rail though

As safechav says zetec is great lump and easy to do, but as he says 5 speed box does need chassis mod, cut out and reweld back 3/4" or so.

as above, most parts and info from the fiesta centre norwich the guys there will point you in a direction
they supply kits for 5 speed g/box conversions , mounts ,brackets etc
