Default Steering/Wheels?

Over the last couple of days i have noticed a little bit of shaking when i'm driving from the sterring wheel, its not too bad, gets a little worse the faster you go. could i just be the wheels need balancing or is it something else?

firstly, check the wheel balance, if it's not that, check for brake judder, as this can even affect the car when not braking
