Default Escort GTi - Sluggish

Hi Guys

I have an Escort Gti, just had it serviced and I mentioned that sometimes when I accelerate it sort of holds back then decides to go. So I had plugs and leads changed buts it still the same. Someone suggested the ignition coil may need changing as well, so I have one on the way.

Are they easy to fit is it something I could do? Any advice would be appreciated.

The Mas Airflow Sensor. Next to your airbox, sometimes called a MAF.

The MAF fine tunes the fuelling. The engine will run happily with just the TPS. If the car runs better with the MAF unplugged you can clean the inside of it out with carb cleaner, let it dry and try again.
