I have'nt startd my car in a few weeks and went to check on it today to discover the battery is flat. I tried to jump start it but the imobiliser wont disengage. Its the type that has the key you put into a socket for a few seconds to turn the imobiliser off. The led on the socket used to flash but now its just on all the time?

I would also be temted to take it out, and install a nice cat one TOAD, alarm/immobiliser.
You could try unplugging/disconnecting power for while, but can't see it resetting, worth a try though.

It may have lost its coding, do you have a spare fob for it?
And i presume its just an immobiliser, not an alarm aswell? I have the sequence to recode the fob in
