I have put a RST engine into a fiesta RS1800 and am having a few probloms with testing the wiring with voltage readings from the TSP basicly I don't know what the meaurments should be exactly. The basic idear that I have is that the middle pin is a 8V supply from the engine mangment ECU and the top pin is the switch for the ideal triger. So if it was at ideal then the middle and top pin would show 8V and when the throttle was moved off the ideal position then the top pin would lose the voltage. But on the third pin there is an earth and the voltage dosn't go down this wire. Mabe the earthed wire should be on pin 1 and the switchable 8v wire should be on pin 3 ?? The loom that I installed into the car had been hacked with diffrent colour wires inbetween but I have been checking the loom and the three wires are going to the correct pins on the ECU 2, 5, 13 just need to no the measurments that are required from the TPS Any advice would be most helpfull.
