Hi all need some help my battery isnt charging have put a multimeter to test and there is no charge, the battery light on the dash is not coming on either.

any help

first thing is to check the wiring on the alternator..make sure its all present and correct...1 large live bolted on and a smaller blue wire that controls the warning lamp

 

just looked and there connected. from what i can see.

I brought a bigger battery on sat and it fitted and on the way home 2night i noticed the amp on the gauges were lower than what they were before. so this is why i checked with a multimeter

 

where does the small blue wire go from the alternator to.........

 

all sorted now was a earth prop inside the alt it self!!!!!!
