need to find out if either a cvh or a larger size fod engine will fit and how much works needed

bought a nice well mint mk4 3 door in bright red problem is the engines not playing doesnt fire up and makes a horrid noise

so decided to put a larger engine in a xr2i or maybe turbo ? need to know what will fi first really

any knowlegde guys???

is that the 1.25 zetec or 1.3? if its the 1.25 then you can get away with changing the engine straight over with the same wiring for a zetec s 1.6 engine as long as you get the ecu and ignition key and barrell set

mmmmm zetec s sounds nice didnt relise that would fit would i have to uprate anything etc like the gearbox or driveshafts etc

ill uprate the brakes etc any thoughts ?

nah run the box and shafts out of your engine, better accel that way, just uprate the brakes and suspension really. focus 1.6 disks and fiesta zetec s pads and calipers go straight on
