I run greens in my stage 2 cosworth 4x4. But I have to raise the fuel pressure to 3.5 Bar to get it rolling. Now i have heard that when they have been fitted with the wrong caps at the top of the injectors the spray pattern isnt right and can cause this problem. I also was told that the cap (hole) at the top of a green injector (803) is the same as the one of a standard cosworth injector (blue).

The cap at the top of my green injectors are orange and the hole in the middle looks smaller then the one of the standard injectors which have a yellow cap.

Is there anyone who can confirm that the cap at a green injector is orange and that this hole in it is smaller than that of a standard injector?
If not, it could be that there have been put the wrong caps on my greens.

 

ONLY need to worry about the caps/mods etc when your running 400's light blues or 403's greys m8 803's are fine with the caps left on!
