Default Removing RS Turbo pistons from rods...

How do u go about doing it? No circlips, and i've been told i'll have to go to an engineering firm to get them removed.

Any other way i can do it myself, without damaging them?

Yes you would have to have the pin pressed out with a hydraulic press.
Even with a press it is hard to remove the pin with out damaging the piston
As there is no flat on the side of the piston to take the load

this not a D.I.Y yob

Hope this helps

Steve.

Teh workshop manual described this pretty well. You definately need something piston-shaped to support the piston.
