Default Car still dead

Hi i have checked: 1,spark plugs and leads. 2,fuel pump. 3,injector rail and battery.
All are ok but the pump dont prime on ignition
I have a 4x4 granada/scorpio 94 (M) 2.0l dohc engine, ghia
there is power getting to the pump as i managed to check with a multi meter but when i turn the key there is no noise comming ffrom it. (only when i give it a perminant live will it push fuel through)
The fuel cut off switch has been bodged so it aint in use (not by me)
I have noticed that even though i pressed the keyfob the imobaliser still flashes. But the engine still attempts to turn but wont fire.
I have had probs with the imobaliser led before but just dismissed it as my car has allways run untill now.
Does anyone know how to disable the imobaliser so i can rule that one out?
And does anyone have any other ideas?
Regards
phil

I think the box for the imobaliser (and i think it does the central locking) is up under the drivers side footwell it's one of the plugs that goes to the box that you need to unplug iirc.

Well i now have a dead bettery to match my dead car so once the battery is charged i will be able to let you know if the imobie is f**ked or not.
To be honest i would be happy without an imobaliser cos i would just buy a alarm...less hassle me thinks?
What did you do with the misses car then?

Hi all

Well after having half my engine in bits along with my entire dash trims including pannels and clocks, a ahole in my boot floor and a severe headache, and a pi**ed off wife my car is still dead...But after looking at the fuse box's (i know should have done this first) i have notced 2 relays that look a little worse for wear 1st relay i came across was the fuel pump relay One of the pins looks very brown and the rest are nice and silver still
The second was the ignition relay again looked worse for ware so i have a question before i go and price these things up, If they look like this is it possible they are knackered?
Also the fuel pump one ,in the hand book it says fuel pump but on the relay it says sommat like engine management relay.
Now i know i sound dumb but is it possible they are the same thing or is it possible that someone has put in the wrong relay before i got the car?
