Default Cossie ECT sensor housing gasket

Should there be a gasket between the cylinder head and the alloy housing that holds the ECT sensor on a 4x4 cossie ?

Cheers

Dave, that would be a funny shape washer wouldn't it ? The ect sensor screws into a piece of allow that's screwed into the head with two allen keys. I meant the gasket that goes against the head.

I bought a headset, no thin blue one in there I'll check again, just in case it's hiding in a box or sumink.

Thanks dave (and for the tappets )l
