how can you tell if a gearbox form a rst has a lsd or not? is there anyspecial no on the box?

 

By looking into the differential if the CV joints have been removed, if you can see a pin in there its not, if there is just like a big round washer it is an LSD.

If the CV's are still in, turn it by hand, if the other one turns in the same direction its an LSD, if not it will turn the opposite way.
