Hi

Had the car out today, was taking some photo's and while it was sitting idle, it cut out. Now it won't start.

The fuel pump wouldnt make it usual noise when trying to restart, so tried swapping the relay, and it's still ot working.

Is there anythign else it could be apart from the actual fuel pump itself?

my cozzy did this last week .fuel pump had siezed i took mine off and run a 12volt live to it and gave it a little tap been ok since

It's been off the road for a few months over winter and has just been running the last few days. Teething problems I think

 

take it cam belt still in one piece

 

can't get under the bonnet either, hte bonnest release is not working either!

Gonna have a look at that just now, but I defintely think it's somethign to do with the fuel pump as it ain't coming on. Checked the relay which seems fine
