zetec engine whats the difference ???? help needed please

i have a 98 1.8 zetec silver top in my mondeo estate and need an engine but am strugling with finding a low mileage one but what i want to know is does any one know if a escort engine will fit i know the engine mounts are different but am not sure if i get one and strip it all my mondeo mounts and running gear will bolt straight on and bee ok ????? any help would be great guys and girls

or if any one has a cheap 1.8 silver top zetec engine out of mondeo going cheap

An escort one will fit if you swap the sumps over. Keep all the sensors, inlets etc fromt he orignal motor though. Check the engine numbers are the same as you may need to swap the cams over.
