Default xr3i cvh cam timing question?

alright chaps putting a highift cam in my xr3i, just wanted to find out if i got all things right.

bottom crank pulley at tdc and no 1 piston closest to cam pulley right at the top of the bore.

basiclly what should be happening with the valves?

should no1 exhaust valve be shut?

as the rocker covers off aswell, just wanna make sure its all right when i put the vernier on so it ok to go an get it tuned.

cheers in advance folks

The bottom end pulley notch should be lined at 0 (TDC), and the cam pulley has a point, which will line up with a hole in the head, which is also dead at 12 o'clock.

No1 TDC is a compression stroke so BOTH VALVES WIL BE SHUT.
