Default S2 Headlights

Where is the earth that usually fucks up on s2 headlights.....sidelights work, as do main beam, but no headlights, all fuses, relays and wires we can see are ok...

Got a new stalk to try tomorrow, but also heard its usually an eart?

Anyone help, she goes to her new owner tomorrow so want to sort it!!

SCRAP IT

Just to clarify.....you've lost dip beam? But full beam works?

Have you definately checked the dim/dip relay yea? The earths are pretty much below the headlights, screwed to the chassis rails, one each side.

I've not heard of them fucking up before, theres a lot of things that earth through those wires.

much did he charge?that usually depends on what he diagnosis,he's not gonna charge you 2-3hrs labour for a relay as that would be ripping the piss so he'll tell you it needed x amount of time to trace the prob and time to fix it
thing with AE's is theyll never tell you what it was really as if anything happens again youll always come back for another relay fiddle
usually when there an earth issue with a wire youll get disco lights and one headlight works other doesnt etc but your prob points straight to the main/dipped relay, take the relay out check its not been cleaned up terminals twisted to get better contact,or go back and ask him which wire it was he sorted as the probs intermittent and you just wanna try and sort it itself when it does it
