Default 4x4 cossie brakes (strange) help please

Right guys i have a bit of a quiry here and im not sure about this. I got all the rest of the parts to build up my cossie 4x4 brakes to go on my FRST but they look different to my mates calipers from his 4x4 cossie.
Look at these pics and tell me what you think. i didnt know weather they differ slightly on the early and later models. But this really doesnt look right to me. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

My calipers are the red 1s and my mates calipers are non painted

mine

This is another shot of it. This metal clip seems just to be floating if ya no what i mean

Any advice would be good

Yours (The painted ones) just look like normal rs turbo calipers.

I busy painting a set or S2 calipers and have them in the boot of the car if you want some pics?

Not sure on the brake pads,

I'll just go brave the 90mph winds and lashing rain to get the calipers
