Default rst series 1 camshaft question

Hi rebuilt my series one engine, stage three head, new pistons, bearings, hybrid turbo, large intercooler ect.

But the cam i put in was a kent t2 which has lost a lob in only 3k

The car was run in as it should be.

Any surgestions on what to replace the cam with another kent or piper and if so which one?Was I just unlucky with the first?

Many Thanks Matt

Head was spot less when it was done(been in the trade for 20 years!!!)

Yep your right it was a piper t2

Mate had this happen on a rover V8 with a piper cam as well.

Not sure what else to use though?

Kent CVH35 if you liked the Piper.

CVH's are prone to wear on top end anyway, poor design, but the Piper cams seem to wear out at an obscene rate.

Piper was ok but the power was up the top end like it to be lower down really.

Will have a peek at the kent site and see what they say.

Thanks For the reply Matt

The Kent is better through out the range compared to the Piper
