Default Running 8 Injectors. Injector sizing????

I was wondering how people using 8 injectors size them for their application???

For example:
An engine running 4x Greys = approx. 2012cc flow

therefore to switch this same setup to Run 8 injectors........???

I guess you could add the second set and keep the greys, but is there likely to be any better configurations of smaller/larger injectors or larger/smaller
i.e. 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, 40/60, 30/70 etc etc..........

Would you want the first set of injectors to provide enough fuel upto the point of Boost start such that the second set then add to this at that point???

I hope you understand what im trying to say..........

Thanks for that, i was already aware of the flowrates but thanks anyway.

I want to try and understand the process somebody would go through in order to select 8 injectors.
I realise the BHP is a major factor, but if you look at my post above, i was wondering about the difference in flowrates between each set of 4.

It is not something I plan to do, but I was wondering about it hence the question.............

and hence why I posted it here as opposed to the General Discussion.

The reason I went 8 injectors is so that you can get better attomisation with the air as 8 smaller injectors can create a finer spray mist than 4 large hose pipes

I have also spaced both banks apart so that at high boost and high revs the bank furthest away from the valves will allow more time for the fuel to mix with the air all be it a spit seccond more.

One other reason of using 8 smaller injectors is that it allows you more controlability throughout the fuel map and at idle.

e.g. a 5% adjustment on a 1000cc injector can be a huge jump in fuel delivery compared to a smaller injector size

Just my 10 pence worth

Most of the top spec Touring cars run 8 injectors for this reason.

The software in my ECU was developed by MBE for the Honda BTCC to get ultimate controlability and power out the engine.
